So i want to start by saying this is a great mod. I do have a question. I noticed after installing this mod that I now have to wait a significant amount of time for shaders to load if i active this mod. I have tried removing it and saw a difference in load time. I am not sure it if is a me thing or not.
I can look into seeing if I can remove it from the mod on the next update. first I've heard of it.
i would like a option for a shorter tongue on the pup for easier navigating tighter areas
The concept behind this particular pup trailer has a long tongue for a reason. It's to unload without having to disconnect and without having to dump the material all over the tongue and jack. I can make this with a shorter tongue but the grip from the tires and how many there are and the fact that none of them steer pose a drivability issue. if this were to get jackknifed loaded down with a heavy material, you wouldn't be able to pull it or pull it as easily.
if enough people want a shorter tongue, I can look at converting the tri-axle one down since it didn't do anything with it currently.
I think the concept they MIGHT be going for is a Michigan "Short Double". This setup is designed to carry 145,000lbs or 72.5 tons. If I remember correctly. Been quite a few years since I was in the sand/gravel industry in Michigan.
yes thats what i was thinking of
Something like this?
yep
coming tomorrow
